Week 9

-The set is used regularly because it provides more control over the ball.
-3 simple key teaching points: Balance, point of contact, body follow through.
-2 triangles (one made by thumb and forefinger of both hands together and triangle within arms).
-Soft fingers (silent fingers) and trampoline hands.
-Must get inside the flight of the ball at all times when possible.

Week 10
Notes:
-No point in teaching the block if the students are too short and not going to be able to use it effectively. Therefore teaching it to Year 7-9 might be useless. More of a year 10-12 skill, when student's are taller.

- Why? To win point, take away offensive play and demoralize opposition.
- When? Against the spike.
- Where? Strategic positioning e.g. if you block the middle, they have to risk the lines (which you can cover).
Week 11
Notes:
-Dig is also called the forearm pass or underarm pass.
-Only use with trajectory 2 (flat) or 3 (down). Use the set instead for high trajectory 1.
-Aim is to get the ball back up into the air.
-Should rarely use when you have a free pass, as set is much easier to control.
-KTP: FATTY FOREARMS for point of contact (not hands, not wrists).
